“Is your Bridle fit for purpose?” – Frances Roche

Evening talk at the National Star College
Wednesday 16th October 2019, 7.30 – 9.30pm
Frances Roche is Master saddler for the Royal Mews and the course leader for all bridle fitting courses run by the Society of Master saddlers. She has just finished working on the set up of a City and Guilds qualification in bridle fitting.
Frances is going to discuss common bridle fitting issues, how to recognise good and bad fit, good and poor quality bridles, and a little about the new trend for anatomical bridles and recognising true claims of scientific testing and misleading ones. She will bring along lots of different bridles for people to look at too and some anatomical head specimens.
