Bridle fit and head anatomy workshop
Sunday 1st December 2019 at Hartpury Therapy Centre
Frances Roche is Master saddler for the Royal Mews and the course leader for all bridle fitting courses run by the Society of Master saddlers. She has just finished working on the set up of a City and Guilds qualification in bridle fitting.
During this workshop we will have a talk from Frances about current thoughts on good bridle fit and the anatomy of the horse’s head. We will then break into smaller groups and rotate through 4 practical stations run by the following:

Charlotte Fountain (Master saddler): Bridle fit
Lois Johnsone (Coln saddlery): Bits and bitting
Cheltenham equine vets: Head anatomy and relevant veterinary conditions
The workshop will run from 10.30am until 3.30pm at Hartpury College Therapy Centre. Refreshments included (a light lunch and teas / coffees)
