Update on Coronavirus

We are in an unprecedented public health situation with medical advice and requirements changing on a daily basis. Please find below the actions we intend to take to keep you and ourselves safe during this period.

Current and future Bookings

We intend to carry on working and visiting yards and places where horses are kept and providing our normal service. However, we would ask that you provide a facility for our vets to wash their hands with warm water and soap and dry them on a clean towel. Please bring a flask of hot water if you don’t have a hot water tap.

Self Isolation: PLEASE LET US KNOW

If you are self isolating because you are either showing symptoms or in contact with someone who is, or because you are a higher risk individual, please let us know and we will make a plan on a case by case basis. We can bring someone with us to help or you could arrange for a friend to be present. We will not refuse to come so please tell us.

What if our vets are ill or self isolating?

We are following government guidelines and social distancing at work and attempting to minimise any spread within the practice. We are also arranging our shift patterns so that if we have members of the team unwell we are able to maintain our service. All of our vets have iPads with our practice management software on them so they can access all of our patients’ clinical history remotely.

.

Planning ahead

Please try and think about vaccinations; it would be advisable to book them at least 3 weeks before the due date in case you fall ill and need to postpone your appointment.  We would also ask anyone requiring repeat prescriptions to give at least 24hrs notice. We can, if necessary, post medicines or supplies.

Many thanks for your understanding.
