Leah joined the team as a part time Vet Tech in 2024. When she isn’t in work, she is studying to be an Equine Vet Nurse at Hartpury University. Fortunately for us, she has decided to stay in Gloucestershire for the long term.
In her free time, Leah removes unwanted plant matter from the mane of her horse Guinness and supports her partner at local farriery competitions.
Jess has hung on tight to more wilful ponies over the years than you can imagine. She began working for Cheltenham Equine in August 2019, both in the office and on the road with the vets. She has the unenviable task of ensuring that kit which is taken on call, is loaded back in to the car before leaving the yard, as well as being a vital extra pair of hands for scopes and x-rays.
On her days in the office, Jess is responsible for administration of all active insurance claims.
At home, Jess’ terrier, Riley keeps her in check.
Alice is owned by an ex-racehorse and plays for a local netball team, she also enjoys travelling to far flung destinations.
She is a wizard with the gastroscope and has particular interest in poor performance and sports horses. In her spare time she lives with a whirl wind of horses, sheep, cats and dogs, occasionally managing to go grassroots eventing and travelling the world.
Emma enjoys all aspects of first opinion equine veterinary work, especially wound management and geriatric medicine. She is a riding school inspector and qualified official veterinarian enabling her to complete export health certificates.
She has a small menagerie including, ponies, a rabbit and a tortoise. A keen footballer and an ex-international frisbee player mean she is vying for the ‘sportiest vet’ title with Emma.
